Issues that you are passionate about: I am passionate about several social justice issues in our community, but I'm moving toward a specific interest in battling ageism.
Service rocks because: People make up the world and the world is made up of problems. When we join together, bonded in humanity, and dedicate a little bit of ourselves towards solving these problems, we start to see that we relate to others on a basis much more fundamental to existence than we previously thought. That feeling is amazing and it's because of those feels that service rocks.

I live to serve because it allows me reach out, make connections, and grow as an individual. I didn't get to choose the set of experiences I've had in my life; I can't personally speak too a lot of issues. However, through service I can gain understanding and perspective that allows me see things through another's eyes and walk in their shoes if only for a moment in time. Service rocks because it is chance to ignite change in ones perspective while igniting change in the lives of others.
