Applications
The Alpha Upsilon circle unites students and faculty who have demonstrated leadership and achievement in the five phases of campus life in the interest of the development of the University through commitment to service, integrity, excellence, and friendship.
Applicants should possess high levels of leadership capacity, exhibit integrity, and demonstrate an enthusiastic ethic of service to the university. The applicant should have completed at least 60 credit hours and have a GPA in the upper 35 percent of their respective college or school. Additionally, ODK is committed to recruiting and initiating members that represent the diverse areas of campus life:
- Scholarship
- Athletics
- Campus/Community Service, Social/Religious Activities, and Campus Government
- Journalism, Speech, and the Mass Media
- Creative and Performing Arts
All applicants should be aware that selection to the Omicron Delta Kappa society is an honor that comes with much responsibility. Attendance at meetings, held every other week, is compulsory and active engagement in all circle projects and events is expected.
