T.O.P.
Dog
The T.O.P. Training Organization Professionals) Dog Program is designed to give you the opportunity to enhance your existing skills, develop new skill sets and cultivate relationships with campus administrators and corporate executives.
Jointly sponsored by the Center for Leadership and Service and the Career Center, the programs will expose participants to a broad
range of leadership topics through panel discussions, interactive
workshops and presentations. Programs will be grouped around campus-wide
career fairs, women's history month and other events designed to expose
you to new ideas and challenging you to move beyond your "comfort zone"
and to think "outside the box". This is a goal shared by many University
departments, corporations and by members of thecampus community. The T.O.P. Dog program is endowed in memory of Lauren Melissa Kelly ('92
BSFCS awarded posthumously), who was a young leader at the University of
Georgia.Although Lauren suffered from cystic fibrosis, which cut short
her life during her senior year a UGA, she was actively involved in a
wide variety of campus organizations. Our hope is that the T.O.P. Dog
program will encourage students to continue to nurture this aspect of
their education by offering this opportunity to learn from leaders who
have achieved success.
